Around Our Table: Important Thoughts on Snuggies

Bri & Jeremy, Our Life

It’s been rainy and cold here in South Carolina and I have basically found myself in need of a snuggie. Mind you my auto-correct turned snuggie into snuggle and I’ll take some of those too 🙂

Also, it is shocking to me that the Air Force did not send Beau home early on any of these rainy days this past week. Gloomy days seem to LAST. FOREVER. So I did the very calm thing and called Beau around lunchtime several times asking if he could please excuse himself from the very important work of protecting our country and come home please because I am LOSING MY MIND.

Unfortunately my requests went unmet. You’re welcome America. So, plan 2. I decided to employ the use of all my favorite things for motivation and cheeriness:

  • Favorite candle
  • Upbeat music
  • Warmest, coziest sweater
  • Coffee
  • Coffee
  • Coffee
  • Snuggie (don’t have one…can anyone confirm or deny feelings of general happiness if in a snuggie?)

All this to say I have approximately ZERO photos for this weekly post because…please see above.

But I found funny things that made me happy and I hope they make you happy too!

First, this is the EXACT depiction of how I feel about the Daylight Saving situation we are creeping upon:

Am I right?

Everyone in South Carolina went grocery shopping yesterday because of the storm passing through. I decided I should go too because we had nothing in our refrigerator this week due to my recent travel.

I made a very important discovery. If everyone in the state goes to the store for emergency supplies the following things will be gone pretty quickly:

  • Water
  • Shredded cheese…I don’t really understand this one
  • Beer – I do understand this one

Which leads me to this greatness from my CrossFit gym in Florida:

how do I take my coffee

Basically.

Oh wait. I just went through my camera roll and I found this picture of little bear and me. Basically we were both super cuddly this past week and living in all the blankets.

Ok, I am so glad I got this super informational and important post up. I am now going to go read some books, drink more coffee, and maybe read some snuggie reviews.

Oh my gosh – snuggie reviews – yes!!!! Can you imagine? Oh wait, I found this answered question for those of you who are curious:

Question:
i recently bought a batman snuggie and my upper arm is a little to big can this fit everyone?

Answer:
Yes. The arm openings are huge.

Well, there you have it. So much joy and yummy food to you this weekend!
