When you need something quick, easy and satisfying, you need to make this 10 minute ramen! I’ve been making my ramen like this for years and it hits every time. It’s quick, most of the ingredients are pantry staples, and it is filling.
I especially love it as a quick easy lunch or as a meal to use up leftover veggies or meat.

10 Minute Ramen
- Yield: Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 package of ramen noodles (I go between Momofuku Soy & Scallion noodles, but these are a splurge, or Maruchan Instant Ramen)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce (optional, this is my favorite brand)
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1/4 cup frozen peas or any leftover veggies like broccoli or sugar snap peas
- juice from half a lime
Optional Toppings:
- Fresh cilantro
- Sliced green onions
- Nori Seasoning
- Sliced avocado
- Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Prepare ramen according to package instructions and if you are using frozen veggies, also add them to the water to boil with the noodles. (If using the Maruchan brand, discard the seasoning or save it for another dish. I do use the flavoring packets that come with the Momokuku noodles in this dish).
2. Drain the water and return the pan with the noodles and peas to the stove over medium-high heat. Add the butter, coconut sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sriracha. (At this point, you can also use the Momofuku seasoning packets.) Stir and allow to saute until all the ingredients are incorporated, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and add the juice from half a lime. Stir to combine.
Dish noodles into a bowl and serve with your favorite toppings!
Notes
Another variation on these noodles is to use Bachan’s Original Japanese BBQ sauce. I add the butter and then 1/4 cup Bachan’s to my noodles along with 1 teaspoon sriracha and saute until the noodles are coated.
